Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries to host Wiregrass Ag Listening Session

Montgomery, Ala. — Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries Rick Pate kicked-off a state-wide series of Agriculture Listening Sessions in the Black Belt region in September. The second session will be held Friday, November 1, 2019, in the Wiregrass region at the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce. The goal of the ag listening sessions is to provide a forum for Commissioner Pate and the public to meet and discuss current agricultural concerns and the department’s services. During this time, Commissioner Pate and department staff will provide a brief update on the department’s activities and be available for questions.

 The listening session is open to the media.
