This month we are featuring Howton Farms Gourmet Sauces as our product spotlight. Steve Howton, owner of Howton Farms, starting making his delicious barbeque sauce in 1995 while on a quest to develop the perfect rib sauce. The demand for his sauce by friends and family became overwhelming so he introduced it to Alabama consumers, and the business has grown into what it is today.

Howton Farms Gourmet Sauces come in a wide variety of flavors and tastes. For less heat there are a couple of choices including Southern Belle Sweet and Mild. For more of a kick, Howton Farms offers Southwestern flavor, Hot, Barns A Bunin' which is five times hotter than hot, and Farmhouse Napalm which is the hottest sauce they currently produce. Howton Farms also produces an Original All Purpose Rub, Southwestern Rub, and Beer Can Chicken and Pork Basting Sauce.

Howton Farms Sauces are spicy, yet always smooth and never overpowering. Howton Farms takes extra care to make the healthiest product possible adding no artificial flavors, colors, sugars or MSG, and the sauce has no fat or cholesterol either. Due to its superior quality, Howton Farms Sauce has won several awards from the National Barbeque Association including 1st place for its All Purpose Rub and Mild Barbeque Sauce.
