Living Tree Community Foods of Berkeley, California is recalling Organic Macadamia Nuts and Organic Macadamia Butter, because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. 

Organic Macadamia Nuts and Organic Macadamia Butter were distributed throughout the US via retail stores (California, Connecticut) and to mail order customers.
