ADAI\u2019s mission is to make the process of growing, processing, and handling Industrial Hemp as convenient and accessible as possible to Alabama applicants. Our Industrial Hemp section has worked diligently to establish regulations for the Alabama program that align with requirements of USDA, the governing body for all Industrial Hemp programs across the US.  Alabama\u2019s Industrial Hemp plan was created, submitted, and accepted by the USDA and went into effect on January 1, 2022.  As ADAI will have the statutory obligation to fulfill the regulatory requirements within the recently accepted plan, our intent is to fulfill these obligations as painlessly as possible.
