Registration Instructions<\/h3>\n

The current fee for new-product registrations for is $600.00 per product for a two-year registration. However, Alabama does not prorate fees. Therefore, at any time you submit a new product application you only receive the remaining time on your cycle. Currently, all products from companies A-M (and also companies that start with a number) will expire on December 31, 2025, and all products for companies N-Z will expire on December 31, 2026.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

Federally Registered Products (Section 3)<\/h3>\n
\n\t

Any product registered with EPA must also be registered in Alabama before it can be distributed in the state. We require separate registrations for each product\u2019s primary and alternate brand name. The brand names to be registered in Alabama must be exactly the same as the brand name registered by US EPA and the same as on the product labeling.\u00a0 Required supporting documents to register Section 3 products include: product label, safety data sheet, EPA stamped label and 8570-5 supplemental distribution form (if applicable)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

Federally Exempted Products (Section 25b)<\/h3>\n
\n\t

Under Section 25(b) of FIFRA, products which meet several conditions<\/a> may be exempt from EPA registration. However, these minimum risk products are required to be registered with the State of Alabama.\u00a0 Separate registrations are required for each product name and alternate brand name that will be distributed in Alabama.
