The Legal Department of ADAI represents the Commissioner and ADAI in any legal matters. Legal is involved in all areas of the Department’s regulatory, legislative affairs, economic development, and alternative energy functions. Legal also oversees the Alabama Agricultural Mediation Program (AAMP). More information concerning AAMP may be found at: (link goes here)
ADAI’s duties are governed by all or parts of Title 2, Title 3, Title 8, and Title 20 of the Code of Alabama.
