. For harvesters, you can only sell Ginseng to a Ginseng dealer between September 1^st and December 31^st.  Ginseng sold to a dealer after that must be certified by the department of Agriculture and Industries before it can be sold to a dealer.  All ginseng must be sold to a dealer by March 31^st.  Dealers may sell Ginseng between September 15^th and March 31^st, or year round if the ginseng was weighed and certified prior to March 31^st and have documentation showing that the Ginseng was harvested during the Open season.
