The State Diagnostic Laboratories are a program of the State of Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries. State Merit System classifications assigned to the laboratories include Administrative Support Assistant, Chemist, Histotechnician, Laboratory Technician, Microbiologist, and Veterinary Diagnostic Specialist. Multiple options and classifications exist with each classification.
